A Cheer for the Girls!

As always here at One Design and Construct, things only seem to get busier, but we never let work get in the way of helping our community.

Once again we are thankful to have been able to continue our ongoing support of Junior Football and, especially, to offer help to our local junior football teams at our wonderful and amazing Bullcreek Leeming Junior Football Club. And if you think it’s only boys getting out there on the footy field, think again!

One DC has been fortunate to be able to sponsor two new girls’ football teams at the Bullcreek Leeming Junior Football Club. They are the BLJFC girls years 7/8 and girls years 9/10.

We couldn’t be prouder or more excited because the girls’ years 9/10 team play their very first game this weekend! It took Aussie Rules Football 150 years to have a professional female league, and with that excellent ball already rolling, now our very own BLJFC also has official girls’ teams and we can’t wait to be part of helping more fantastic girls play our great Aussie game. The future is bright indeed!
